DAY 1
Departure is at 8am from your hotel and head west, descending into the plateau of the Great Rift Valley. En-route there will be many opportunities to take spectacular photographs. Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, home for over a million greater and lesser flamingoes as well as more than 400 species of other birds. A tour of the park will find buffalo, water buck and white rhinos. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Return to Nairobi will be in the evening. A stop-over at Lake Naivasha Hotel for tea and more bird watching.
